Keith E. Weaver

Keith Weaver is Executive Vice President, Worldwide Government Affairs, Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE). Keith was elevated to this position in August 2011 and started as Vice President for the company in June 2002.

Keith oversees all of SPE's government relations and public policy activities globally, as well as the Company's community affairs. He works closely with SPE's operating units and corporate staff groups to develop a legislative and regulatory agenda that supports the business strategies and initiatives of the Company's motion picture, television, home entertainment and digital entertainment divisions. Keith also coordinates SPE's government activities with Sony's other U.S. operating companies such as Sony Music, Sony Electronics and Sony Computer Entertainment.

Prior to joining SPE, Keith served as Staff Director of the California State Senate Redistricting Office. Before working on legislative redistricting for the State of California, he was a regional manager of Community and Government Relations for Kaiser Permanente and served on the staff of former State Senator Herschel Rosenthal.

Keith serves as Vice President of the California State Film Commission and has served as Vice Chair of the Board of Neighborhood Commissioners for the City of Los Angeles.

General Membership Meetings
CCA hosts nine General Membership Meetings each year on topics of interest to the membership, with high ranking representatives from business and government as speakers and panelists. These lunch meetings attract between 150-300 guests from the business, government and non-profit communities. Benefits: As a sponsor, the company logo is featured prominently in all printed materials, room signage and on the CCA website. Main sponsors given the opportunity to speak at the event.

Sponsorship Opportunities range from $1,500 to $10,000.

Special Events

Treasures of Los Angeles Awards Luncheon
Celebrating its 18th year in 2012, the Treasures of Los Angeles is the must-attend event of the year for over 1,200 of L.A.'s leaders in government, business and civic life. “Treasures” celebrates the diversity, strength and excellence of our great city by recognizing Angelenos who have made outstanding contributions in a variety of fields including: arts and culture, business, community service, education, entertainment, fashion, media, science, and sports. Awardees have included: Magic Johnson, Oscar De La Hoya, Ray Charles, Andy Garcia, Buzz Aldrin, Wolfgang Puck, Sherry Lansing, Julius Shulman and Tim Leiweke.

Sponsorship Opportunities range from $3,500-$60,000.

Elected Officials Reception/Chiefs of Staff Reception
CCA honors our local elected officials and their chiefs of staff with an alternating reception each year. Both the Elected Officials Reception and the Chiefs of Staff Reception are attended by over 400 guests from Los Angeles’ government, business, and civic communities. Benefits: As a sponsor, the company logo is featured prominently in all printed materials, room signage and on the CCA website. Main sponsors given the opportunity to speak at the event.

CCA Annual Holiday Party
In December, CCA hosts its annual Holiday Party at the Wilshire Grand Hotel for over 400 guests. Considered the largest Downtown event of its kind, CCA’s Holiday Party is a must attend event for elected officials, city staff and business leaders. Benefits: As a sponsor, the company logo is featured prominently in all printed materials, room signage and on the CCA website.
