MEET CENTRAL CITY ASSOCIATION

Central City Association (CCA), established in 1924, is a business membership organization representing over 450 businesses, trade associations and non-profits employing over 250,000 people in Los Angeles County. CCA, L.A.'s premier business advocacy leader shaping public policy on a broad range of issues, is the leading architect of the Downtown Renaissance.

CCA'S MISSION STATEMENT
Central City Association is devoted to promoting the economic health and quality of life of Los Angeles and particularly Downtown Los Angeles by creating a vibrant, 24-hour, internationally renowned Downtown powered by business, government, residents, arts and entertainment.

CCA fulfills its mission by:

  1. Serving as the premier advocate for the business community before the Los Angeles City Council, the County Board of Supervisors and the State Legislature.
  2. Serving as  the driving force in the continued on-going growth and development of Downtown Los Angeles.
  3. Marketing Downtown, in partnership with the Downtown Center Business Improvement District, to enhance and promote the image for Downtown as the region's most important and historic center of commerce, entertainment, culture and government.
  4. Providing exceptional networking opportunities for its members.
