Housing, Land Use & Development Committee Meeting

12th & Olive Hotel

Join us to learn about AECOM's plans to build a new 16-story hotel at 12th and Olive, near LA Live and Pico Station. The hotel would include approximately 250 guest rooms, 38 parking spaces, and over 4,000 sq ft of ground-floor space for restaurant and retail uses.

Special Guest: William Korchek, AECOM

Cornfield Arroyo-Seco Specific Plan (CASP) Updates

The Cornfield Arroyo-Seco Specific Plan – located in Chinatown and the Lincoln Heights area – was approved 5 years ago, and included innovative policies including eliminating parking minimums. Unfortunately it hasn’t yet resulted in new housing development for the area, in part because of the interpretation of an affordable housing provision in the plan. Join us to hear from Gerald Gubatan about a proposed amendment from Councilmember Cedillo that will clarify the interpretation and help spur much-needed housing in the area.

Special Guest: Gerald Gubatan, Office of Councilmember Gil Cedillo

Special Guest: Wells Lawson, Metro
