Citywide Inclusionary Zoning

Recently, Councilmember Cedillo introduced legislation asking for City Planning and the Housing & Community Investment Department to provide a report on different strategies to equitably distribute affordable housing throughout the city. The report is expected to be at the City Council’s Planning and Land Use Management Committee this May and should include different approaches for inclusionary zoning like mandates and incentives.
