Measure W Parcel Tax
Measure W, approved by voters in November 2018, is expected to raise approximately $300 million per year to fund water supply and water quality improvements in LA County. The parcel tax of 2.5 cents per square foot of “impermeable space” will soon go into effect, including a rebate program for parcels that have already made investments in stormwater capture and water treatment. Join us to learn more about the program’s implementation and share feedback with LA County representatives.
Special Guest: TBD, Los Angeles County Department of Public Works
Congestion Pricing Study
Metro is studying congestion pricing as an approach to improve traffic, mobility, and air quality in LA County. The Congestion Pricing Feasibility Study will investigate the feasibility and framework for conducting a congestion pricing pilot program with the intent to expand the program in the most traffic-clogged parts of LA County, upon approval of the Metro Board of Directors. The study will kick off later this year and will include an extensive public engagement process.
