Measure M Central City Multi-year Subregional Program

The Central City subregion - which includes most of the City of LA - will receive $5 million in Measure M funding to be used for active transportation projects over the next five years. LADOT will prioritize these projects based on Measure M guidelines, input from certain advisory committees and proximity to planned and existing transit stations and major bus stops. Join us to learn more about project prioritization, project inventory and how Measure M funding can support mobility hubs, first / last mile solutions and active transportation.

Special Guests: Rubina Ghazarian & David Somers, LADOT

Protect App-based Drivers & Services Act

The App-based Drivers & Services Act is a state ballot measure sponsored largely by Lyft, Uber and DoorDash to create more flexibility for their workers than currently allowed under Assembly Bill (AB) 5, a recently passed state law that limits who may be classified as an independent contractor. This ballot measure aims to restore the ability for drivers to set their own schedules, locations and work for multiple companies, while also assuring new wage and benefit guarantees for drivers who work a minimum number of hours, as well as provide customer and public safety protections. Join us to learn more about the ballot measure, its provisions and potential impact.

Special Guest: Sarah Locke-Henderson, Lyft
