McKinsey’s “Affordable housing in Los Angeles: Delivering more—and doing it faster”
Join us for a presentation of McKinsey’s recently released report analyzing the state of affordable housing in Los Angeles. The report provides a deep look at the affordability crisis, and offers a set of recommendations to increase housing production, speed up delivery timelines, decrease costs, improve administration of funding, and provide security for tenants.

City of Los Angeles Housing Progress
CCA members are invited to hear from the Department of City Planning on the most recent updates on housing progress and an overview of the new Housing Progress Dashboard. City Planning will also discuss the potential impacts of recently adopted state laws on housing in the City of LA.

Los Angeles County Inclusionary Zoning
LA County’s Department of Regional Planning released a draft Inclusionary Zoning ordinance at the end of 2019 and is currently collecting feedback from stakeholders. The ordinance would require projects in unincorporated areas of the county with more than 10 units to set aside some share of units as rent-restricted affordable housing. Join us to learn more about the proposal.
