Proposed Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) Bond Measure
The LAUSD Board is considering placing a bond measure on the November 3 ballot to sustain the existing School Facilities Modernization Program as the bond measure can be issued without raising the existing property tax rate. The bond measure would support an array of needs and projects including outdoor play space and learning areas and updated learning technology. After the presentation, CCA members will consider whether to support this measure.

Under California state law, Los Angeles is tasked with adding 456,000 new homes by the end of the decade. Abundant Housing LA developed the FAIR LA Plan which proposes a methodology for allocating new units of housing sustainably and equitably.
