Central City Association Announces Expanded Governing Board
Board Reflects the Diversity of Downtown Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES (March 27, 2019) -- Central City Association (CCA) announced the addition of six members to its Board of Directors, bringing a greater diversity of voices to the organization. They will help execute CCA's mission to make Downtown Los Angeles (DTLA) a dynamic and welcoming neighborhood and increase investment in the region. The new board members are:
- Suzanne Boda, Senior Vice President of Los Angeles, American Airlines
- Sean Burton, CEO, Cityview
- Stephanie Graves, President & CEO, Lee Andrews Group
- Lewis Horne, President, Southern California and Hawaii Division, CBRE
- Kevin Murray, President & CEO, The Weingart Center
- Cindy Starrett, Partner, Latham & Watkins
"Our Board represents the voices of our dynamic and broad coalition of businesses, trade associations and nonprofits that are working together to enhance the vibrancy of Downtown Los Angeles," said Tom Gilmore, CCA Board Chair and CEO of Gilmore Associates. "This diversity of opinions and experiences will be important as the organization maps DTLA's future, strengthens the civic fabric of our community and prepares for the Council District 14 election in 2020."

CCA's current officers will serve for the remainder of the calendar year. Tom Gilmore, CEO of Gilmore Associates, has served as Chair since the beginning of 2018. Robert Jernigan, Regional Managing Principal of Gensler, serves as Vice-Chair and will be the Chair in 2020. Noel Hyun, President & CEO of The Brooklyn Companies, is Secretary and Treasurer.
