Kaiser Permanente Launches Campaign to Slow COVID-19 Spread

Published Monday, September 14, 2020

With COVID-19 continuing to spread, Kaiser Permanente is dedicated to promoting public awareness of proven prevention strategies. They recently launched a public health campaign called Together We Thrive,”  featuring healthcare professionals reinforcing the actions we all still need to take to slow the spread of COVID-19. These videos will be running in English and Spanish via digital, social and broadcast media and will be on their websites, and they have focused on ensuring this campaign is visible to minority communities.

Kaiser Permanente has been a top leader in addressing safe practices in response to COVID-19. Along with recently announcing a commitment of $63 million to support California’s contact-tracing work, they have invested in household prevention efforts to limit the spread of COVID-19 within households, implemented strict safety precautions in our hospitals and medical offices to protect employees and patients, and worked with local and state government on a number of efforts to prevent the spread. They also accelerated their telehealth capabilities to make it easy for most of their members to continue to receive quality care while staying safe at home.

CCA members may find these videos useful in your own efforts to promote healthy behaviors, so please share with your networks to continue encouraging everyone to follow healthy habits to protect themselves and others. To learn more about Kaiser Permanente’s response to COVID-19, visit here.
