Cal State LA Downtown’s non-credit professional development programs can reshape and enhance individuals’ value in the workplace and in the world.

• The Paralegal Studies Certificate Program is ideal for those interested in becoming part of a legal services delivery team, considering law school, or brushing up on paralegal skills. Apply by August 1.
• Upon completion of the Project Management Certificate Program, those who qualify will be better prepared to take the exams offered by the Project Management Institute. Enroll by August 18.
• The online Medical Billing and Coding Program offers the skills needed to resolve insurance billing problems, manually file claims, complete common insurance forms, and more. Enroll by August 27.
• The online SHRM Professional Program prepares individuals for key SHRM exams. It is also for those individuals who need recertification credits. Cal State LA is a SHRM Top 20 Education Partner. Enroll by September 1.
• Pharmacy technicians are taking on a greater role in pharmacy operations. The online Pharmacy Technician Program trains students to work in pharmacy settings and explore pharmacology practices, laws, and safety. Enroll by September 28.
