Today, CCA officially launched Revive DTLA: An Urgent Recovery Plan for the Heart of Los Angeles — a 90-day initiative focused on restoring safety, cleanliness, and vitality in Downtown Los Angeles.
This plan is the result of months of collaboration and member input, and it underscores CCA’s leadership in advancing solutions for Downtown at a pivotal moment for our city. While the Convention Center expansion is a vital long-term investment, Revive DTLA zeroes in on quick, visible actions that restore confidence today — making a clear call for government to partner with the private sector to stabilize and strengthen DTLA’s future.
Already, we’re seeing our priorities echoed in recent announcements: Mayor Bass and city leaders have detailed plans to deploy foot patrols and bike officers, expand mental health response teams, and fast-track permits for Downtown development, alongside stepped-up cleaning and graffiti removal. These actions align directly with the goals in Revive DTLA — showing that CCA’s leadership and advocacy are driving real momentum for change.
The action plan outlined in this document is not just a plan for DTLA — it’s for all of Los Angeles. Time and again, we’ve come together to achieve big things during difficult moments. Downtown has proven its resilience, but immediate action is essential. Let’s help Downtown thrive so we all can.
Thank you, as always, for strengthening our coalition and ensuring that Downtown’s voice is heard. Together, we are making a difference.
